The Meowthology: The Nine Gods and The Key-Holder Mythology
Long before mortals discovered wealth, taxes, or the cursed sound of an alarm clock, the Nine Gods of Meowmander ruled the realms with laziness, mischief, and divine nonsense. Their power shaped the universe in ways only cats can understand—meaning they took naps, knocked things over, and demanded tribute in the form of fish and gold. But among them, one feline stood apart—not a god, but The Key-Holder, the only one responsible enough (and grumpy enough) to keep their chaos in check.
The Nine Gods of Meowmander
These are the self-proclaimed “greatest beings to ever exist” (Catheus wrote this himself). Each god represents an essential (or ridiculous) force in the Meowverse.
